Feeling Lonely or Feeling Alone

I was struck in reading today from the book of Psalms. David said he was feeling lonely — Psalm 68:6. Then in Psalm 146:7, we read that God wants to uphold the cause of the oppressed and also wants to release the oppressed.

I find comfort in this fact.

In further digging, I discovered that the definition of lonely means the absence of meaningful connection.
