What Are You Rushing Toward?

You ever feel this constant sense of urgency?

I know most of it is the rate and pace we do life these days.

I try most of the time to push back on society's norms and go at my own pace, fighting the "madness of the rush," if you will.

When I came across John 15:4, it made me pause and think — what am I rushing toward?

I want Jesus to be the thing I rush toward, the One I look forward to meeting with and spending time with.

Also, the peace and comfort from time with Jesus is so much more fulfilling and rewarding.

Jesus gives back, too. He says in verse 4, He will remain in me, if I remain in Him. Then He also gives another gift — He wants us to grow, and we can do that if we allow Him to work through us.

Sometimes in life we can have the attitude that we can do it later and push it off for another time.

Don't wait — run into His arms, meet with Him. He never disappoints!

Do it now, don't wait.

It will be hard to stay "remaining," but as you press through, before you know it, the habit of meeting with Jesus is going to be the normal.
