God Will Be With Us in Our Troubles
I really needed this reminder today — God will be with us in our troubles. (Ps. 91:15)
I don't know why sometimes in our trials we act like it's such a surprise or a shock that it's happening. I know that we will have hard times, trials, and temptations.
I want to learn from them and have a better perspective when they happen, because I know they will.
God says that we are more than conquerors through Him. (Rm. 8:37)
I want to cling to this kind of power through our Lord and be moved by it. I want to remember the next time I go through something: "I've got this, Lord, because You are beside me."
I want to keep in the forefront of my mind that He wants me to have victories in these areas. (1 Cor. 15:57)
I am grateful to God for being with me every step of the way. There is something so grounding about knowing we are never truly alone in our struggles — even when it feels that way.
I want to have the heart attitude of "What do You want to teach me, Lord?" instead of "Why, Lord — not another lesson!"
Because in my heart I know the Lord loves me and knows that I need to be strengthened and stretched to grow. I want to lean into the lesson!
If you're walking through a hard season right now, you are not alone. I'd encourage you to reach out to someone you trust — genuine connection in our trials makes all the difference.
